Polynor Foam Cleaner

Polynor Foam Cleaner

Overview

Polynor Foam Cleaner is a specialist solvent cleaner formulated to remove fresh, uncured polyurethane foam from spray guns, valves, tools, and work surfaces. Keeping your equipment clean between and after jobs is essential with one-component foam — cured foam is extremely difficult to remove and can permanently clog a spray gun. Used regularly, the cleaner keeps your gun operating smoothly and extends the life of your equipment.

Key features

  • Dissolves fresh, uncured polyurethane foam quickly and effectively
  • Cleans and maintains spray gun internals, valves, and nozzles
  • Removes wet foam residue and overspray from tools and non-porous surfaces
  • Fitted with the same connection as the foam cans for easy gun flushing
  • An essential companion product for anyone using one-component spray foam

When to use it

Use Polynor Foam Cleaner to flush the spray gun after finishing a job or before storing it, to clean the gun when changing cans, and to wipe away fresh foam splashes and overspray before they cure. It is effective only on uncured foam — once foam has hardened, it must be removed mechanically.

Important note on cured foam

This cleaner is designed for fresh, wet foam only. It will not dissolve fully cured foam. To avoid hardened residue building up inside your equipment, clean the gun promptly after each use rather than leaving foam to set.

How to use in brief

Attach the cleaner can to the spray gun in place of the foam can and flush until the foam residue is cleared, following the directions in the product instructions. For surfaces and tools, apply to a cloth and wipe away wet foam. Refer to the full instructions in the Documents tab before use.

Safety & handling

The cleaner contains solvents — use in a well-ventilated area, keep away from heat and open flame, and wear gloves and eye protection. Avoid skin contact and inhalation of vapours. Consult the Safety Data Sheet in the Documents tab for complete safety, storage, and disposal guidance.
